We’ve been working with O2 since they formed. In fact we produced the first consumer facing collateral when they launched. Prior to that we were working with BT Mobile which became BT Cellnet and then O2.
One of the areas we’re heavily involved with is the Welcome process. So if you sign up to a Pay Monthly contract on O2 you’ll be contacted by us. Either by letter or email.
We’ve worked hard to develop a robust email process that delivers an above 50% open rate. And if the emails bounce we collect that information and pass these customers into the letter route. It gives a complete solution. Plus we can see who’s opened the email, who’s clicked through and what the most popular links are. By introducing email we’ve saved on mailing costs.
In fact when we were first involved in the mailings in the BT Cellnet days, we saved £250K on postage in the first year by changing the weight of the welcome pack. Small things can make a big difference.
